What do you guys think?

We had this thread earlier this week. I'm pretty sure we are all in agreement that it would be a great signing...but only at the right price. He's a luxury, not a huge need right now. It would be nice to give the finger to the Angels again this winter though.

Joe-your thoughts?

Yes, but now that we know that two big players with money aren't going after him, maybe we can step up and stick it to the Angels, and if Feliz doesn't go to the rotation, maybe he would agree to be a setup man (much better than Francisco), though I think, due to age, Wash would make it the other way around

They've said publicly in the last 2 days they aren't going after him, if that means anything. Even without him, their bullpen is a strength, and should allow them to move either Ogando or Feliz into the rotation if either are up for it. They have a new Japanese guy, Mark Lowe, O'Day, Franky Frank, Ogando, Feliz, Rhodes, Oliver, and 1 long man (probably either Feldman or Kirkman). They usually roll with a 12 man staff, right? So that means 7 relievers - and there are 9 guys on that list.

I predict Tateyama will not break camp with the Rangers. He'll be brought up at the first injury. Also, remember that Feldman starts the season on the DL this year
