We heard last week on local radio shows and from Jamey Newberg that the JD was exploring trade possiblities... Well as we announce the signings of Rhodes and Webb, whose is going to be taken off of the 40 man roster? I see something big coming, what do you guys think?

Looking at the 40 man roster, there are some tough decisions to make. My guess for the next two to be dropped off the 40 man roster are Guillermo Moscoso and Taylor Teagarden.

Wilmer Font will be moved to the 60-day DL.

Font can't be moved to the 60 day DL until the end of March. The likely candidates to go are Rapada and Ramirez. Max is out of options and won't make the club out of ST. He is likely to be dealt for a bag of peanuts.

Well if nothing else, thinking about all the players I covet and how we could put together a trade package for them sure is helping the time pass in my deer blind. Don't know if anything is imminent, but as secretive as JD is it wouldn't surprise me.

As you point out...Rhodes is the end of Rapada but it also means that one of Ogando or Feliz is going to start. We are getting clogged at the back end.

Ramirez is the perfect example of not trading a guy when you could actually get a big piece in exchange. Teagarden is yet another example. There are at least three of the six minor league arms that are mentioned frequently that should be shipped while the moment is right.

I say look for some trade where six Rangers go for two and one of those that Texas gets will be huge!
