Does anyone think there is a remote possibility that these guys are juiced?

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=5739358

We've proven before that it only takes one guy to spread the drug throughout the clubhouse.

I'm not accusing anyone of anything at all. Just forwarding the story to you all.

Of course it's possible (who among us is delusional enough to be surprised when a pro athlete tests positive or is otherwise tainted with PEDs?). But let's be real: after more than 10 years around Barry "fathead" Bonds, is there any chance that Guillen introduced anyone to PEDs in the 5 minutes that he was in SF? The days of major leaguers introducing their teammates to drugs is long gone. Everyone is exposed in the minors (if not college or high school). The chances of one of the Giants seeing how "well" Guillen performed and saying "I gotta get me some of that" are non-existent.

15 years ago when I was in college, I knew plenty of guys who juiced...with the sole aim being to get more muscular in efforts to sack a few more half drunk sluts than they might otherwise.

Why wouldn't a guy like Guillen whose career is fading away fast use PEDs? Especially an untestable one... A bit of a production boost during the year or to help recover from injuries (both current and some pretty awful ones in the past) might net him another deal vs. forced retirement.

I don't see it. I mean, I guess it's more likely that other players could get involved, but the drug testing and whistle blowers would have already been all over this if there were anything more.
