$500 for SRO tickets to Game 3 on StubHub. Holy crap.

I, for one, will be watching at home in high-definition and enjoying it. Best of luck to those who still intend to go and haven't bought tickets yet.

Yeah, work bought me a ticket to game 6 of the ALCS, but I don't see them doing the same for the WS. Hello smoke filled bar and 10 too many beers.

The same seats I sat in for the epic game 6 (324) that cost me $80 each are going for $850 ea. for game 3, last I checked.

As soon as I get it done I will post a link to my video of the last three strikes.

Dub - My Eris ran out of battery 3 minutes after the A-Rod K, but my coworker right next to me got a really quality video. I can post if anyone is interested. The seats we sat in, section 133, are going for 2 grand on stub hub.

I'm a capitalist to the core so I appreciate free trade but it's always sad to some degree that the most important sporting events price out most of the truest fans. I just hope that there are enough real Ranger fans there to make the place rock. Thank goodness for large HD TV's.

I bought SRO tickets for Game 3 right after Game 4 of the ALCS and I was able to get two for $315 apiece. Pricey, but I think/hope it will be worth it.

My older brother watched our little brother for Game 6 so I could go. I'm repaying him by letting him go to Game 3. But I should be at Game 4 in my awesome seats, cue this - http://mp3twit.com/54t

Yeah, so tickets for the seats I had (with Philly and Daniel) for game three of the ALDS are $625.00. The tickets I had for game six of the ALCS are going for $2,684.00. I have been priced out - by a mile.

It's absolutely ridiculous how ludicrous people are pricing up the World Series tickets. I was able to attend every single home game of this post season without spending over $75 for a ticket to any game. I was able to attend Game 3 and 4 of the ALCS for only $20 each! I find it insane that people bought up all of these tickets and have driven the price up with the sole intent to make money. It's sad I will not to be able to watch my favorite team play in the biggest event of the year.

Watch out, Josh 2.0! I thought I'd be in "my awesome seats" for Game 4, but MLB has moved me over 2 sections to make room for "press overflow"!
I've bought into those same seats for 15 years, and now that the Rangers have finally made it, I get bumped!

I don't blame anyone for getting as much $$ for a seat as the market will bear. I can't go because I can't justify spending that much $$ on a seat (or place to stand). But I still stand by capitalism...even when it bites me in the butt.

On the other end of the spectrum... I could barely give away my Cowboy tickets for last Monday's game. Who would have thought in April people would be paying $500 for SRO Ranger Tickets and not paying anywhere near face value for a Prime-Time Cowboys Game against the freaking Giants?
