Dump German and Nippert for Kirkman and Rapada. If Frankie F is healthy, dump Holland for Frankie.

More detail on German:
When MY reached on an error to start the 8th in a 2-run game, if you're not going to pinch run German there and then go with the superior (defensively) Blanco at 3B for the 8th and 9th, then you're just never going to use German.
Scooby Dude
German is officially of the ALCS roster. No word on the replacement yet.

And of course by of I mean off.

In that case, I would go with Rapada in German's place. I also agree with Scooby Dude - Kirkman in place of Nippert. But I'm getting the vibe that they're sticking with Nippert.
Da Blade
Replace German with Kirkman. If Fransisco is available, I'd probably switch him with Nippert.

I'd like to see Rapada as a situational lefty to take the heat off Oliver a bit. Oliver is your go to guy, but you can't use him every game. I'd love to have Francisco, but with all the time off I'd be worried about rust.

Do you really want 4 lefties in your bullpen though? Idk if you need Oliver, Holland, Rapada, and Kirkman. That would leave you with O'Day, Ogando, and Feliz as your only righties. I think adding Rapada OR Kirkman would be a good idea though.

Francisco has said that he hopes to be healthy for the World Series. I'd love to have all the power (lefty) arms in the bully that we can get. We will have much more need for pitching than a pinch runner.
Wizard of Ahhhhs
The Yankees have some trouble hitting LHP, and both parks feature RF porches that can murder RHP against a good lineup, and Feliz/Ogando/O'Day are all sufficiently better than the next best righty that I'd want to avoid using my 4th best righty entirely if at all possible, and you can probably use Tommy Hunter out of the pen in Games 1, 6, and 7 if you want to. Plus, I would consider starting a LHP in Game 4 (Holland/Harrison). Thus keeping 4 lefties in the prospecive bullpen makes sense to me.

Uh, dump Cantu for Davis. Davis is a ++ glove and can at least hit with some pop from time to time. Cantu, even with luck, could leave his bat in the dugout with about the same success rate he's had.

Per the DMN:
The club has made the following changes from its 2010 American League Division Series roster:
* Left-handed pitchers Michael Kirkman (#62) and Clay Rapada (#59) added
* Right-handed pitcher Dustin Nippert and infielder Esteban German removed
Very lefty heavy - the right move, I think.

Any suggestions on tweaking the playoff roster? Should E. German keep his spot as a pinch runner? What about Clay Rapada and/or Matt Harrison to help shore up the bullpen? Discuss amongst yourselves!
