Forum > Thanks BBTIA

Well, as Texas Rangers Playoff Armageddon approaches, I am compelled to issue a genuine thank you to Joey, Josh, and all of the BBTIA contributors for the fine work they do here. It has been a fantastic year no matter what fate awaits us tonight, and my discovery of BBTIA this year has most definitely added to my enjoyment of Texas Rangers baseball. I have a better understanding of stats and a great deal of respect for you guys for taking the time to decipher and share it with us all. The farm updates are fantastic, and the links are great. The gameday chat is, well, it's a gameday chat that has opulence.

I realize that nothing is ending except, hopefully not, our season. But if we lose tonight, tomorrow I will resemble the jerk on the McDonalds commercial who hasn't had his coffee yet, but instead of just saying "not til' I've had my coffee" to people, I will probably karate chop them in the throat.

Go Rangers!!
Thanks BBTIA!

Sincerely,
Warren

I'll second dub's sentiments. I've been reading the content here since Vittas was in charge, and it's always getting better.

Thank you, BBTIA. A great site with so much valuable and entertaining Rangers information. We are going to win tonight so I look forward to more through the ALCS and beyond.

Man, I REALLY want to punch that "I haven't had my coffee yet" guy in the face.

Man, I REALLY want to punch that "I haven't had my coffee yet" guy in the face.

I think the most annoying part is when he rejects the fairly attractive girl on the bus because he's in a snit over his coffee. Yeah, good luck finding something better, you jackwagon.

Seriously, I don't know if there is a more annoying commercial going. I mean, what was the ad agency thinking? Lets sell everyone the idea that it's ok to be a total jackass then have some McD's coffee and your super nice again?

They should have gone with the mini giraffe.

Rangers fans are lucky to have so much solid coverage of the team, certainly including this site.

If we lose, I'm going to unleash a DDOS on this site.

I want to echo the "Thank God for this site" sentiments. This is my 1st stop for Rangers info every morning and I have passed the link on to many friends who have become Texas bandwaggoners during this great run. Thanks for all the work, Joey, Josh and other hard working people.

and I couldn't agree more on the sentiment: Man, I REALLY want to punch that "I haven't had my coffee yet" guy in the face.

Get over it, loser coffee addict. None of us want to deal with YOU either.

I concur with the praise others have heaped upon the contributors except for that
'opulence' remark. I'm not sure that has ever made it into the lexicon of Baseball discussions to which I have been party. So, I live, I learn and I promise not to complain if the Rangers blow it big time. If the season ends then the vitriolic diatribe ends with it. It has been a Great ride and BBTIA has enhanced it further. If we lose then we played longer than anyone but the Final Four. If we win then we are the effing Final Four. Also, i think we have the Yankees just where we want them. Peace, Love and a fastball with a hop, skip or a jump on the end and smoke emitting from the seams. In Big "D",
Tom B.

I hope somehow somebody is making some $$$ with this website for all the effort put into it.

Agree with all that's been said. BBTIA is one of my guilty pleasures. I love beating all the Rangers issues to death in here.

Many thanks!

This site is great. Keep up the hard work. It will be a kick in the teeth if we lose tonight but at least this organization is FINALLY headed in the right direction.

I'd also like to jump on and thank all the good people at the fictional BBTIA.com offices. It's been a great ride this year, regardless if ends or continues tonight.

If the Rangers win and the world ends, i'd be fine with that.

This site is great. I am so happy I found the link through ESPN.com's power rankings in May.
